Responsible Business Practices in Relation to New Trendy Standards (17/12/2024)
This paper brielfy introduces the concepts of Responsible Business Practice (RBP) in Viet Nam, clarifying the relations between RBP and other trendy frameworks which are increasingly being implemented across the worlds and global value chains, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks, the global impacts of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Responsible Business Conduct (RBC). These trendy standards are observed from the view of responsible business to illustrate that the corporate responsibility to respect human rights is the core for businesses to catch up trends and make use of the opportunities thereof. Responsible business should be the lodestar in sustainability transition and in innovation / creativeness of business models nowadays. This paper also provide recommendations for businesses as well as the State to catch the flow of responsible business.

Collective economy and cooperatives are identified as an important part of the national economy. Mechanisms and policies have been issued by the State of Vietnam to support and promote their development. However, the growth rate and quality of this sector has not yet achieved high results compared to other economic sectors. The new context raises many issues that require continued addition, development and clarification of theory as well as improvement of mechanism and policies to develop collective and cooperative economies.

Job Security and some Factors Affecting Female Workers in Industrial Zones in the Mekong Delta (17/12/2024)
The article focuses on analyzing the situation of job security of female workers in industrial zones in the Mekong Delta, and identifies factors affecting this issue. The research results show that job security of female workers in this region is relatively guaranteed and is affected by 4 factors, namely: (1) Satisfaction with colleagues; (2) Satisfaction with income level; (3) Career development opportunities; and (4) Working time and rest time. These could be considered important scientific data for policy makers, local management agencies, industrial zone management units, especially enterprises to find appropriate policy solutions to ensure job security for employees.

The emergence of smart cities (smart urban areas, smart cities) is an inevitable trend to solve plenty of existing problems of modern urban areas that traditional urban types cannot solve. This creates a more civilized and convenient environment. Japan is one of the leading countries in the region and the world in building smart cities. The paper summarizes the concepts, characteristics, and issues to develop smart cities, thereby proposing lessons for Vietnam.

Highlights of Cultural Policy in Chinese Government Work Report 2024 (17/12/2024)
The Two Sessions (The Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference - CPPCC and the National People’s Congress - National Assembly) held every March is, among others, the most critical political events of the year in China, which allows the world to grasp an overview of China’s political and socio-economic situation. The 2024 Two Sessions shows that China’s economic development and national rejuvenation goals remain key issues. In terms of culture, in the context of the strong global technology race, the Chinese Government emphasizes the strategy of cultural digitalization, promoting the application of science and technology in exploiting cultural values, while improving the level of free services at public cultural venues to improve the quality of life for the people. The article analyzes the outstanding issues in cultural policy mentioned in the 2024 Work Report and makes some forecasts about its cultural development direction in the coming time.

Adventure Tourism Zoning Helps Attract Tourists: A Case Study in Binh Thuan Province (17/12/2024)
Binh Thuan province has rich natural resources with potential for adventure tourism development, distributed in many different types of terrain and geomorphology. The West- Southwest area is mainly mountainous terrain, the source of rivers such as La Nga, La Ngau... The area has hilly terrain distributed in a narrow strip running from North to South. There is also a coastal plain terrain, with some sand dunes in Bau Trang, Mui Ne with different colors, along with famous beaches. Therefore, using geographic information system (GIS) technology to zone adventure tourism in Binh Thuan province shall facilitate the strong development of the province’s tourism industry.

Education Policies for Ethnic Minority Students: A Case Study in Lai Chau Province (17/12/2024)
In recent years, the Communist Party and the State of Vietnam have always paid attention and issued critical policies to ensure equal rights in education for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas. In addition to the achievements, the implementation of educational policies for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas reveals some limitations and shortcomings. Based on secondary data and research results of the Project, the paper analyzes the current situation and some factors affecting the implementation of educational support policies for ethnic minority students in Lai Chau province in recent times.
