Factors Affecting Employees’ Awareness and Actions on Environmental Protection Issues Associated with Circular Economic Development in Enterprises in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province (24/04/2024)

This study explores factors affecting employees’ awareness and actions in enterprises in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Binh Duong province on environmental protection issues associated with circular economic development. Results of the study indicate that employees therein have become more concerned about environmental pollution and environmental protection issues related to circular economic development at the enterprise, and that implementing enterprise policies on environmental protection shall impact employees’ awareness and actions on this issue.

Outline of the Literary Process of the Cochinchina Region (Đàng Trong) (24/04/2024)

Though emerging rather later compared with the Đàng Ngoài (Tonkin) literature, the Đàng Trong (Cochinchina) literature was not ever an inferior “lagger” but proud of its significant values and identities. In Vietnamese literature history, literature in the South region in general and that of the Đàng Trong in particular was most of the time pioneering new experiments through various forms of literature including the academic Nôm, Vãn and Tuồng (in the medieval period) and newspaper academic journal, short and long stories and adaptation (in pre-modern period), with which it expanded influences on the literature of the North. Having solid understanding about the literature of the South is crucial to have a comprehensive knowledge about the Vietnamese diverse literature.

The Retreat and Revival of Confucian Schools in the Overwhelming Context French-Vietnamese Schools in Tonkin in the Early Twentieth Century until 1945 (24/04/2024)

Confucian schools existed for thousands of years under the Vietnamese feudal regime. However, the French colonialists intended to abolish and replace Confucian schools with those teaching French and National languages to meet their urgent needs for invasion and rule. Therefore, the Confucian schools in Tonkin from 1906 to 1945 experienced many ups and downs, abolition and revival under the French educational guidelines and policies. The article clarifies two contents: (i) Confucian schools in Tonkin since the French colonial government implemented the first educational reform in 1906 until 1919 when King Khai Dinh approved the abolition of all Confucian schools; (ii) the retreat and revival of the Confucian schools in the context of the French-Vietnamese schools being made the one and only education from 1919 to 1945.

The Necessity of Promoting Religious Resources for Sustainable Development in Vietnam Today (24/04/2024)

Sustainable development has become a top priority for countries, including Vietnam. Due to evident contributions of religion in terms of spiritual, material and religious resources during the nation-building and development process, the Party and State of Vietnam urgently need to promote these resources for national sustaintable development among political organizations, social institutions and people. Based on a collection and analysis of secondary documents, the paper summarizes theoretical and practical foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s awareness of religious resources, assessing their role, and proposing solutions to enhance religious resources for current sustainable development in Vietnam today.
