Compared to well-known community-based tourism destinations in some northern mountainous provinces such as Cat Cat village (Sa Pa), Lac village (Mai Chau), Cang Muong village (Van Chan)..., that of the Black Lo Lo ethnic people in Khuoi Khon village, Kim Cuc commune (now Hung Dao commune), Cao Bang province, developed relatively late. Despite certain advantages (beautiful scenery, cool climate, unique local culture, friendly people, etc.), community-based tourism therein is only in its initial stages of development. Based on the results of field research in April 2025, this article addresses how to preserve and promote tangible cultural resources in the development of community-based tourism for the Black Lo Lo people in Khuoi Khon village, Kim Cuc commune, Cao Bang province.
