In the current context, the application of technology in museum and archival activities has become increasingly necessary to improve the efficiency of management, preservation, and promotion of heritage values. This article analyzes the role of technology in building databases, managing collections, clarifying the benefits of digitalization in artifact preservation and expanding public access through online exhibitions and virtual museums. The article also addresses the application of international standards in artifact management and data connectivity to improve work efficiency. Based on practical experience, the article points out some difficulties regarding infrastructure, resources, and data standardization, and proposes directions for promoting the application of digital technology in museums.
